The solar project

After installing solar panels on the roof of our narrowboat, I discovered that it should be possible to monitor their performance remotely.

This should prove invaluable once we tie the boat up for the winter and move off to sunnier climes.

My project relies heavily on the work done by Andrew at Random Sporadic Projects. I modified some of the code so that the data is displayed on this website.

All in all, it was a great project to put together. Not only did I achieve my objective but it forced me into re-learning some long forgotten programming skills.
